Re: Bed leveling on Ender 3 — try the paper method but go slightly tighter than you think. My first prints stopped lifting after I adjusted the Z offset by 0.05mm.

Quick tip for laser cutting 3mm ply: slow the speed to 18mm/s and bump the power to 70%. You'll get a much cleaner edge with less charring on the back side.
